Aramid Filter Bag

 

Brief Introduction Of Nomex Filter (Aramid) Bag:

 

1. Material Composition:

Nomex filter bags are made from meta-aramid synthetic fibers, providing high heat and chemical resistance. The fibers are very fine and densely packed.

2. Temperature Resistance:

Nomex has a continuous use temperature rating of up to 370°C (700°F), with excursion temperatures allowable up to 427°C (800°F). This makes it suitable for hot gas filtration applications.

3. Chemical Resistance:

Nomex offers excellent resistance to most acids, alkalis, greases, and organic solvents, making it a good choice for applications with exposure to corrosive gases and fumes.

4. Strength:

The dense, non-woven construction of Nomex filter bags provides high tensile strength and abrasion resistance. This allows them to withstand cleaning cycles and pulsing jets.

5. Permeability:

The fine Nomex fibers provide high filtration efficiency while maintaining good air permeability and low pressure drop. This improves ventilation efficiency.

6. Lightweight:

Nomex is lightweight compared to some other high temperature filter materials, making installation and disposal easier.
